    Lasya Moravineni

    Hey there! I'm a CSE(AI & ML) graduate from CMRIT, Hyderabad. I enjoy building software that sits at the intersection of backend engineering, cloud, AI, and full-stack development.

    I've worked on Java and Spring Boot backend systems, full-stack applications, cloud deployments, distributed systems, and AI-powered applications involving LLM integrations, Agentic AI, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). I'm particularly interested in understanding how systems work end-to-end — from writing the code and designing APIs to deploying and running them in the cloud.

    Outside the tech bubble, I'm most likely dancing, sketching, journaling, or doing something artsy :)

    • Designed and built backend microservices for enterprise-scale applications using Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and REST APIs, taking broadly-defined requirements through design, coding, testing, and debugging.
    • Designed and implemented 10+ RESTful API endpoints supporting distributed service communication across production systems.
    • Built event-driven, asynchronous workflows using AWS Lambda and SNS to automate backend processing at scale, improving system reliability and reducing manual overhead.
    • Built an internal Release Builder tool that programmatically transformed unstructured documents and CSV inputs into structured JSON, cutting documentation effort by approximately 70%.
    • Collaborated with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, contributing to technical documentation and knowledge sharing to support ongoing development.

    DocuMind AI – AI Document Intelligence Platform

    Designed and deployed a full-stack AI document intelligence platform that enables intelligent document ingestion, metadata extraction, hybrid semantic retrieval, and grounded question answering. Supports both local (Ollama) and cloud (Google Gemini) AI providers with secure JWT authentication, duplicate detection, and live deployment on Render and Vercel.

    Real-Time Log Monitoring System

    Built a real-time log monitoring dashboard using Apache Kafka, Spring Boot, and Angular. Implements data filtering based on client and service IDs, ensuring only relevant logs are streamed to users via WebSocket. Includes Kafka Streams for processing and real-time metrics visualization.

    NMS Cinemas — Movie Booking Platform

    Full-stack movie booking platform with dedicated User and Admin workflows, supporting movie, theatre and show management, seat selection, booking, cancellation and booking history. Containerized with Docker and deployed on AWS EC2 through a Jenkins CI/CD pipeline, with Nginx serving the Angular frontend and reverse-proxying backend APIs.
